Our hollow-core slabs proved to be the best solution for this residential development, providing immense savings in construction time. A more accurate means of constructing suspended slabs, our hollow-core slab solutions also mitigated errors and wastage on site. They are therefore, also a more cost-effective solution for constructing suspended concrete slabs in the long run. “It is always a challenge installing hollow-core slabs inside steel beams. However, with proper planning, together with Relentless Consulting’s PG Whelan, we made very light work of this installation. This is the second project that we have completed with this consulting engineering firm and I am sure that there will be many more,” Johan Muller of Coreslab says.
