“I have experience working with all methods of concrete slab construction. However, I still prefer ‘Coreslabs’ because they are the most efficient. Coreslab designs the concrete slab, as well as manufactures the hollow-core slabs and installs them, getting it right the first-time round. It is as simple as that. With Coreslab overseeing the entire process from beginning to end, I was not concerned about potential problems with the suspended slab that would affect the overall quality of my house or delay construction. It was also a more cost-effective solution in the long run,” Nkaroleng Matjie says.
Matjie adds that he is also very satisfied with the service that he received from Johan Muller, who supervised this project on behalf of Coreslab.
“Construction of Mr. Matjie’s new house is forging ahead as planned. Work was able to commence at the next level almost immediately after we had completed the installation of the hollow-core slabs. Mr. Matjie’s builder did not have to wait for the concrete to cure, coordinate construction materials to site; and install and remove tons of propping and staging. Our solution, therefore, enables hard project scheduling. I am looking very forward to seeing the completed project at the end of July,” Muller says.
