“Coreslab promised me the best solution for constructing suspended slabs for my new house and delivered exactly that. The company’s hollow-core slabs provided cost-savings and were certainly much faster that other available methods. It was an all-round positive experience working with Johan Muller and his team. I especially appreciated the company’s transparent processes and the clear and open communication channels that it establishes with its clients from the get-go. I, therefore continue to refer Coreslab to people I know who are getting ready to build houses and bed and breakfasts,” David Seleka says.
Coreslab maintained an impressive track record on this project, completing the entire installation in a single shift. “We installed two suspended slabs for our client. The first was 180m2 and consisted of 150mm-thick hollow-core slabs and the second 134m2 and comprising 250mm-thick slabs. As part of the project, we also installed 10 precast concrete beams. At the end of the shift, our client had perfect suspended slabs and could, therefore, proceed with his project without any delay. There was no need to wait for the slab to first cure before being able to work above and below and no hidden costs associated with raw material and propping, staging and formwork. Correctly installed the first-time round, there are also no errors that could cost you more time and money,” Muller concludes.
