Johan Muller and his team made light work of the installation of this suspended slab for Sidwell Ranoko. This has enabled work to proceed on the rest of his house without delay.
Almost immediately after the hollow-core slabs were installed, Ranoko’s builder was able to resume construction above and below. There was no need to wait for the concrete to first cure before construction could continue. A lot of time was also saved installing propping and staging, as well as mixing, placing and shuttering concrete. Moreover, a fit-for-purpose slab was completed the first time round without any defects because it was undertaken by a specialist in the field.
“Impressively, Johan and his team completed the installation of the suspended slab and precast-concrete staircase on a rainy day. This would not have been possible had I decided to use conventional construction methods. Had I done so, there is a large chance my project would have been behind schedule, a situation all homeowners want to avoid but often find themselves in due to their limited building knowledge. I am, therefore, glad that I tasked this aspect of my project to an expert, an approach that I will recommend to other people building double- or more storey houses,” Ranoko says.
Muller says, “Demand for our services remain high, considering the ease and speed at which we are able to complete suspended slabs for all types of developments, whether residential in nature or medium or large commercial and industrial-type projects. Our turnkey service spans the design of the suspended slabs; the manufacture of the quality precast-concrete elements; and their efficient transport to and integration on site. This is in addition to the certification of the final suspended slab.”
