Hollow-core slabs remain the most efficient and cost-effective method of constructing suspended slabs. Mr. H. Maphutha can attest to this. His new house is progressing according to schedule and this is largely due to our suspended concrete slab solution. “Our team quickly and efficiently installed 35 hollow-core slabs for this residential development. This enabled the building contractor to proceed working above and below the 140m2 slab without delay. The order also included three precast-concrete beams, three steel hangers and two prefabricated concrete staircases,” Johan Muller of Coreslab says.
