Project 32

Miller Enterprises’ project is running an entire week ahead of schedule. This is after appointing Coreslab to construct the suspended slab for a filling station’s administration and retail building in Modjadjiskloof.

“The project was actually running behind schedule before we appointed Coreslab. To bring the project back on track, Clifford Mogale committed to completing the installation of the suspended slab within three weeks. His team met this expectation very easily, despite a period of heavy rain in the area during June that slowed progress. We would have never been this far into the project had we used other construction methods,” Gordon Miller of Miller Enterprises says.

Coreslab’s solution was also more cost-effective as Miller Enterprises’ engineering team initially anticipated.

On this project Coreslab worked alongside principal contractor, Quality Plant Hire.

“There is no downtime with our suspended slab solution. Your project progresses as quickly as we are able to design the suspended slab; manufacture the various precast-concrete elements; and install them. That is a very impressive production rate, and the quality of our suspended slabs are unrivaled, Mogale says.
