CoreSlab has assisted the Greater Tubatse Municipality complete a number of grand stands for its sports and recreational facilities in rural areas. Among these is an impressive structure that is able to seat 5 000 people.
This is the largest such project that we have been involved in to date. The system comprises just fewer than 700 precast concrete elements and is 126m in length and 13m in height at the back rafters. They include the columns, raking beams, seating and side panels.
On this project, we worked alongside the main contractor, PNG Civils.
